Ashutosh is a major contributor in PostgreSQL community. He has also worked in other forks and extensions of PostgreSQL such as Postgres-XC, BDR, EPAS etc. He is author of features like partitionwise joins and aggregates, join and aggregate pushdown in FDW. His other contributions in the form of features, bugs and reviews encompass areas like logical replication, query optimizer, storage abstraction.
He had a brief stint with Hive replication and metastore where he worked with PostgreSQL on application side.
