Diversity (and lack thereof) in the Postgres Community has been a topic of increasing discussion the past few years. While we have made some progress—even submitting a proposal for a talk on diversity to a conference is a significant change—we have some distance to travel still. While won't get there in 25 minutes, we will cover a fair amount of ground!
We will review current efforts in the community to improve diversity, as well as ideas that have been discussed and need someone to develop them.
You will also learn what you, as one individual, can do in your daily life to improve the diversity of our community.
