Logical replication is a flexible approach for data replication. However, it can sometimes lead to data inconsistencies between nodes, known as conflicts. As the adoption of logical replication continues to grow, the need for effective conflict detection and resolution has become more critical.
In this talk, we will explore how conflicts arise in logical replication and discuss the existing PostgreSQL features that have been developed to enhance the detection and resolution of these conflicts. Additionally, We'll also introduce the upcoming features aimed at providing more user-friendly, automated conflict detection and resolution solutions.
