Karen is a Senior Solutions Architect at Crunchy Data, helping customers to design and manage their Postgres database environments.
Prior to that, she was a database administrator for over 20 years, and was once described as "quite personable for a DBA", which she decided to take as a compliment!
Karen is a PostgreSQL Europe board member and conference organizer, and she chairs the PostgreSQL Europe Diversity Committee.
Outside of the world of databases she loves cycling, mountain biking and skiing.
