David Wheeler is a long-time PostgreSQL contributor, and creator of Sqitch, a database change management system; PGXN, the PostgreSQL Extension Network; pgTAP, a database test framework, and CITEXT2, the case-insensitive data type. After stints with PostgreSQL Experts, iovation, and The New York Times, he now leads the extension ecosystem initiative for Tembo. He lives in New York City with his artist wife when they're not exchanging homes overseas.
